The RU5144 high-flow air filter is built for performance applications that require strong airflow without sacrificing filtration efficiency. Unlike single-use paper filters, the cotton gauze can be washed, re-oiled, and reused, making the RU5144 a long-lasting and cost-effective option. The molded rubber flange ensures a tight seal, while the tapered cone design supports smoother, unrestricted airflow.
Bowei manufactures this filter using the same type of high-quality cotton gauze media used in well-known performance brands, but produced in our own facility with strict quality control to ensure stable performance and durability.
Material Description
The RU5144 filter uses several layers of fine cotton gauze that have been treated with a light, tacky oil.
This oil coating helps the cotton fibers grab and hold dust particles while still allowing a large volume of air to pass through. Because the cotton media is washable, the filter can be cleaned and re-oiled many times, offering a much longer service life compared to traditional disposable paper filters.
This construction provides a balance of high airflow and effective particle capture—ideal for engines that need both performance and protection.
